I underestimated the length of the table so the protector turns out to be a little short. But I love the item a lot. It’s thick enough and in the same time soft so it is easy to move around. With this product, I won’t be worrying about stains on my table. ### ⭐ reacted with the finish on my table *by S***. on September 1, 2018* Like another reviewer, this cover reacted with the finish on my dining table, effectively ruining it. We were careful to clean both surfaces and thoroughly dry both the mat and the table prior to application, so this is without a doubt a chemical reaction between the finish on the table and the PVC glass mat. The finish on our table became tacky after a few weeks, and we figured it was a fluke. Flash forward 3 months and there is a layer of tacky plastic that you can scrape off with your fingernail.
