The trim along the edges are more pronounced than expected. The difference (even though it wasn't drastic) in the tone between that and the actual garment I was using it with made it very obvious that it was an after thought and did not really go together. I also experienced the "bunching" of fabric at my armpits as noted in a few other reviews. If you have larger arms (which I suspect will be a common population interested in this garment) you will likely find the same. The additional fabric required to cover the circumference of your arm isnt fully reduced in that area which creates the bunching effect. I did find that bringing the fabric together higher up on the v-neck pulled this in better and improved the appearance. If you intend to use it with a very low cut top that may not be an option. My top was sleeveless and that also reduced the ability to smooth away that extra pocket of fabric that formed arm holes might provide. Definitely small in the shoulders and upper arms and sleeves were longer than 3/4 and didn't come up over the shoulders like the black mesh. It's not a forgiving fabric at all. The black mesh style is just right to size.
