A: There is a slot in the plate that allows you adjust between the ranges shown.

**Q: I have just purchased but need to reinstall, Can I please get a complete spair pair of mounting pieces?**
A: Yes you can get spare brackets /fittings. 
I actually did this because the old fittings got badly corroded. I phoned up Beamish and told them what I wanted. They charged me over the phone using card and they posted them to me and got the bits in a few days.

Update after 8 months... the seat snapped. The soft close is just a stiff hinge, it's so slow it takes a minute to go down. The attachment is very firm and good quality. Not my first Bemis seat, they're good.
