The design appears to have taken account of weatherproofing but I can’t comment further since I’ve only just installed it. The downside which appears to have become a universal shortcoming with all such sensors, is the lack of a sensitivity control. The housing allows for two cables to enter but the space inside is tiny and there’s no connector for earth wires. The sensor it replaced was supplied with 1mm T&E solid and T&E flex to the lamp. It had adequate space and connectors for everything. If fitting as an initial installation I would recommend making the connections in a JB out of the weather and only taking a 3 core L/N/Switched flex into this things housing.
