There is no temperature control on it so if you are looking for that this is not for you. If you are working on tiny pcb projects it will do fine. But if you are working on any kind of game console or computer boards or anything with a little size to it this iron is not going to do it. If you are working on boards for a drone or a power bank or something along those lines it will do fine. As it turned out, I had a power outage recently and wanted to replace a bad motor. At first, I thought it wasn't going to melt the solder blob, and eventually gave up and let go of the button. As it turns out, it's a latching soft on/off button, and letting go of it let it get warmed up.
