It does make the hair oily so I just used the red (pink) at the ends of my hair so the look would last longer.It makes the hairs stick together (kind of crunchy like mousse) and hard to brush but not impossible. Brushing it does brush some of the color out and lighten the color.Even with all that said I definitely recommend to anyone. Great price and out of half my hair and half my daughters hair I still have 70% of the hair coloring left. Just make sure to use a towel when you sit on your couch or anything you cant just throw in the washer.
