The quality of the carrier really is top notch, and even without inner padding I found my body temperature fairly cool while I was sweating during drills. I chose the ranger green color according to my surrounding environment, and it fits perfectly. The vest itself is lightweight as it advertises itself to be, and fits 10x12 plates comfortably. There's a kangaroo pouch in front that I put inserts in, and the magazines fit snug within the pouch.
