The pillowcase barely fit my king size pillow, which before ordering the case, I had measured and the case supposedly had a few inches to give. But in reality, I could barely squeeze the pillow inside the case without bending my firm pillow and making a break somewhere near the middle because that is where the zipper was. If the zipper was at the end, it would have made more sense and definitely easier to put the pillow in. Also, I was very disappointed with the color. The purple I ordered looked nothing like the picture. Using the same camera, I took a photo of the actual pillow case cover I received, before washing, and a snapshot of the color I ordered around the same time. There's a huge difference in color which is a big bummer to me because I ordered specifically just for the color. I was ready to fall in love with the nice dark purple, but instead got a pale colored one. Also, the fabric was not very straight but more uneven. That was not a deal-breaker for me though. Overall, I probably will not be ordering another set due to the two main issues mentioned: 1) difficulty of putting in pillow due to center, zippered opening and 2) color is unreliable. Other than those issues, maybe someone else might be able to enjoy if they're not picky with color and they don't mind breaking their pillow in half to insert. On a different note, I had tested the pillowcase before washing and did not have any different issues afterwards. It was still just as inflexible afterwards as it was before but it didn't look so messed up either. I protected the case inside a mesh bag while washing and was able to preserve everything and had no problem with it in the dryer on normal drying cycle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks like muppet fur after first washing. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2020* It is soft to the touch. It looks like it will last (seen construction) but not pleased with how it looked after the first wash and dry on low. The fur matted and reminds me of muppet fur. I might try to comb it to see if it will fluff up, but it will likely need to be “fluffed” after each wash. Using fabric softener may also help next time I wash it. It also may help others to know that the gray has a green undertone to it.
