Review: Good consistent clay - I have made a fair bit with it on my pottery wheel. I’d say it works as well as any clay I’ve used. I’ve been glaze firing at cone 8 and it’s a nice dense white shrinking to about 85% in each direction.
Review: I adore this clay - It came deliciously moist and so ready to hand build. It might be a little too moist for throwing without a little drying time. I primarily hand build and have been thrilled with this clay. I can't build fast enough! It also comes really fast once you order it which is nice. Now just to see if it glazes well. Really impressed with this clay so far! Just a heads up it is much browner then the product picture portrays. Still love it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is 47 the old #48 stoneware?**
A: I don’t know but it’s nice clay to work with

**Q: I have never worked with clay and am looking to buy this for my daycare children. Can this clay be used over and over?**
A: This clay is mainly for use with a kiln. Judging by what the customer is asking, I would suggest not using this for daycare children and multiple uses. I would suggest something more like the Model Magic or something geared more toward younger children.

**Q: Is this clay Cone 10?**
A: according to the information it is stoneware clay...cone5-10.

**Q: Can this be used to make a mold for glass slumping? (1200 to 1300 deg F)**
A: I don’t know about glass slumping, I am a potter and all my pieces fired to cone 6 which is 2200F. Hope it helps.
