I like this knife, it is a big bully, which I believe could do great damage. I am not sure however how sturdy it is, It has thin metal and could break. It is sharp, and if it does not bend or break on contact, it could be devastating due to it's size and sharpness. UPDATE (2/18/2019): So, have had this over a year, and it has surprised me. It is very durable, even when I am constantly cutting cardboard and other packing materials. I also have it lying in wait for self-defense. It is a big, honking Karambit, that could do real damage to wrong-doers and could save one's life. So, there I've said it, get you one. You will certainly sleep easy at night.

Nice knife but the tip is a but to long and a little off balance but hey for a one time use for self defense i think it would do its job i have mine hidden behind my toilet you never know when you have to disembowel a intruder a d i think this would do just find if needed fkr this task

Ordered two of these, one for my friend and one for myself. One was fairly decent right out of the box, not very sharp, but was able to be sharpened nicely. The other, the blade was practically squared off and not sharp whatsoever. After lots of sharpening, it's close to having a normal blade, but shouldn't have been that bad right out the box

I received this item right on time, like always. never really have those issues on here. my first impression was it looked and felt cheap and the tip was bent. I was about to return it and decided to sleep on it and I'm actually glad I did. With a little bit of time with a grinder and a sharpening stone I've got something I actually like having around especially for $10. I'm sure it wouldn't hold up to any serious use but this thing looks scary enough to probably never have to use it all. Its thin and light and the sheath sucks but it can get really sharp and since its going to spend most of its life on a display stand I'm relatively happy with the purchase. Classic you get what you pay for.

Very sharp, excellent quality metal, the sheath is good too. This is the largest karambit available for the price.

Was looking for a larger Karambit knife and this was exactly what I was looking for!

It's ok. But a knife this big and only 1 side being sharp is not very tactical. The shape and length is awkward for kerambit combat technique use but it's ok. Handle is not thay comfortable and a bit long making it slightly awkward to slash with. But it's still a cheap cool knife.

Surprisingly great quality. The blade is massive for a karambit which it saying a lot considering I am a big guy. Has been holing up well. Need to sharpen the blade but that is no big deal.
