It tastes just like English toffee, I don't really taste chocolate but I don't want to either, if I make it really strong then I feel like I can taste chocolate so I try to not make it that strong. I used to love their toffee butter cake or butter toffee cake frappe mix (which ever one it was called) it was my favorite in the whole wide world & of course they discontinued it so I tried the caramel frappe mix & yuk it tastes like chemicals & if course I waited too long for a response so now I have about $80 of that that I'm stuck with that won't even be drunk, then I found this, this is a good second to the frappe mix I used to love, if you've had that this tastes pretty similar but is thinner then the frappe mix, it's like regular coffee consistency. I just can't get enough of it. My only complaint is the container it comes in, I keep a coffee spoon in it & when it gets more then half way I can't get my hand in there so I have to transfer it to another container that I can get my hand into, I also wish they had a bigger size option.
