They're both strong, and durable. I did find one issue with them, and it's interesting to me. In my gun safe I have installed additional shelving. Those shelves were made of 5/9" plywood. Interestingly, the crappy shelves (MDF) that come standard in most modern gun safes is made from 1/2" material, making these hangers a less-than-perfect fit. Truth be told, most gun safes are poorly built, and then sold at a premium. You'd probably do well to chuck all the MDF shelving and replace them with quality plywood. But... this is another issue. Great gun hangers, and very versatile. Makes crowded gun safes easier to work in since they really require no room, at all. The fact that the gun hangs from the shelf above it means that the shelf below can now be used for other things. This essentially doubles your space in the gun safe.
