Indigo Pigment - Lab Tested Powder, Qing Dai Fen, Polygonum Tinctorium, 1lb Bulk Herb Powder

I have had severe/moderate Ulcerative Colitis for several years. I was on Humira and Mercaptopurine which controlled my symptoms but are expensive and powerful drugs with their own side effects.I stopped the Meds hoping I would stay in remission but within 2 months I was bleeding progressively with bowel movements.This was the first time trying indigo naturalis. Within a week my symptoms were tapering and within 2 weeks they were gone. I urge you to give it a try. It won’t work for everyone but it may very well help you and that is worth a shot. I have been symptom free for 5 months now.This brand has a pleasant odor, no taste that I notice. I swallow a quarter teaspoon (1 gram) twice a day with water. A bag this size will last a Long time. Based on how this has worked so far, I would give it 5 stars because it has worked so well to help alleviate psoriasis, but I have tried many things in the past that worked well initially and then lost efficacy, but based on the scientific research, I suspect that this will continue to work well and earn a 5 star rating!I am a little confused because the listing on Amazon showed that the product is called "Polygonum Tinctorium", but the bag I received says "Indigofera Tinctoria". The powder itself looks the same shade of medium blue/gray. Both describe the product as "Indigo Pigment". In the available studies, they say they used "Indigo Naturalis" and the color is similar. Also on the order page, one of the pictures you can click on to see the powder outside of the bag shows it as being a darker olive green color, but the actual color of the product I received is blue/gray, the same color that the clear bag shows in the other clickable pictures of the product. Like I said, a little confusing.In any case the product that was sent is working to reverse my "severe psoriasis" fairly quickly. I mix it with lotion and it turns a very dark blue color (almost black) and I apply it directly to the psoriasis. It can stain clothing and bedding blue, but so far these stains come out in the wash, so not too much of a problem. I didn't have to change my diet or eliminate anything and I can now drink alcohol again without it causing a flare up. I had plaque, inverse, guttate, erythrodermic and nail psoriasis and all symptoms are now gone with the combination of this topically applied powder and two oral supplements! Yes, definitely 5 Stars!!!

I have had UC for years and decided to give this a try. What a wonderful, beautiful, amazing, awesome product this is. I was on prednisone and other heavy drugs with no response. Plain and simple this worked for me. I bought 00 empty pills and stuff them with the powder. 1 in the morning and 1 at night. 4wks later I saw real improvement. 4months later I was symptom free for the first time in years.

I've had colitis for two decades and tried every remedy you can imagine. Really - from pharma to herbs and everything in between. On a blog, I saw someone mention that indigo really controlled their symptoms. I was in a flare and figured - why not give it a try? SO GLAD I did. This was like a miracle. I went from a moderate flare to NO symptoms in less than a month. A VERY fast rebound. The only sideeffects - yes, it makes your #2 blue and for me, I got VERY tired. I mean, almost unable to stay awake, after taking it. I had to plan extra sleep time. My dose was small, about 1/2 tsp every evening before bed, 5 out of 7 days a week for 1 month. That's all it took. This powder tastes terrible. Just awful. But I didn't care at all. It made my colitis symptoms go away!! Two months later, I'm still symptom-free and not using the indigo anymore. Can tell you for sure - I will always have this stuff in my cabinet, though. It's a champ for IBD! Oh - to take it, I mixed it in with some coconut yogurt, then chased the whole nasty thing with something flavorful each time to get the taste out of my mouth. Good luck!

I have no reason to believe this isn’t what it says it is and seems like a good deal. However do be aware that the powder is extremely fine and if you try to drink with water it will get into your sinuses and lungs—no bueno. You’ll probably want to mix with something oily or put in gel caps.Also the outside of the packaging was coated in Qing Dai—very messy, open somewhere you can easily clean up the mess and transfer to a better container.

A THICK powder that does not dissolve.

I was diagnosed with UC over 6 years ago. I went from steroids to several ASA5 drugs to finally Remicade which stopped the bleeding , but gave terrible arthritis in my hands and feet. I bought a bag and som 00 size enteric capsules because this powder is so fine it doesn't mix with anything and you want it into your intestines before the capsule releases it. 2 capsules twice a day and in less than 2 weeks the bleeding stopped and now 4 years later and 2 colonoscopies later I have old scarring but no sign of active disease and my last colonoscopy was last week. It may or may not work for you, but I now have my life back and continue a regimen of one capsule in the morning and one in the evening. I hope you may get the same results, please at least give this a try, no side effects at all that I cam discern and no more powerful and dangerous drugs.
