Please don’t say “you can use the wire directly” like you’ve done twice. That is not what the question** A: I measure the hole at the top as 5/32" or 3.9 ish mm. That should work with most banana plugs but I don't personally use them with my speakers. The hole is more than deep enough also as it run from the top to the bottom of bare wire hole. **Q: Will these posts accept a banana plug?** A: It’s a yes or no question.
