One side is different from the other. **Q: Is this cable able to support 4K TV's?** A: I checked with CNet and apparently, you do not need a special HDMI. Standard ones will do. It is fireproof?** A: I don't believe it can ever cause a fire since it's lower voltage but I'm not 100 percent sure of the fire specs. You would have to ask your local town for that and what they allow. If your asking is it fireproof from a fire I would say no it's not. **Q: I have a cable with the same info on it but 1 end is standard size and the other is about half that size any ideas what it is for?** A: No Sir, not without seeing it and holding it, there are many different connections, one end HDMI and the other could fit many many electronic systems.
