Gets plenty loud and sufficiently drowns out my non tune carrying shower voice. I haven't timed it for how long a charge lasts, but it's several showers worth of music.My only negatives are:The little rubber grommet that plugs into the charging port doesn't fit. Try as I might, it's too big and doesn't seat into the hole. Second, the port itself is on the top of the speaker. So shower water will leak past the non fitting plug and into the electronics. This gives me pause for its longevity. I position it to negate the water actually pouring directly into it, but it is still in the shower and does get wet.Lastly is more of a quibble. While it's playing the blue power light flashes the whole time. This speaker isn’t the best speaker in the world, but you KNOW that. It’s 10$, what’d you expect? But I use this thing in the shower every morning and have been every day for months. Use it about 30 minutes at a time and usually have to charge it once a week.
