The picture is extremely high quality. Extremely easy to use! Love being able to connect smartphones or tablets to it. Great projector if your looking for something not very expensive. Review: Great picture quality and brightness in a portable package - I looked at a variety of portable projector options for outdoor movie and sports nights, and I landed on the Epson EF100. I was looking for a model that was compact, had decent built-in audio and could connect wirelessly to a device for streaming. At the MSRP it is pricey, but on sale, I think the product represents a good balance of performance and value. The picture is HD, and while not 1080p, is incredibly sharp and should satisfy the casual user. What I particularly like about the Epson is the brightness - I can display something at dusk on a screen or even the side of my house, and I can still see the picture clearly. Setup is easy and the portability is an enormous plus. Like most projectors, you are going to lose a lot of the picture with any daylight. It’s bright enough to make out a picture in mid-day with windows, but hard to see. I thought it did well considering. It will be fine if you have window treatment, but comes alive when darker. Don’t expect it to look like a tv in full daylight. I had this and a cheap Walmart projector. I could watch this during cloudy days during the day no problem. The cheap one was not visible at all. Sunny days with windows open I could barely see this....but could make out the picture, especially watching sports. **Q: can picture be reveresed** A: Yes. Reversed and/or flipped. Suitable for mounting upside down and/or for rear projection. **Q: Can the picture size be adjusted without actually moving the projector ?** A: Yes, there is digital zoom, but it’s better to move the projector to make sizing adjustments. **Q: Is this projector recommended for 24/7 continuous use?** A: I've had my EF-100 for nearly a year now.... I tend to go through periods of almost zero use to 3-non-stop days / nights out poolside in the subtropical Florida heat. I've had no issues except for this: twice now my Firestick(s) (much preferred over Android TV), have started making car-horn-loud screeching noises while plugged into the Epson projector..... No resetting could be performed..... They were instantly, completely unuseable. It could have been the 3-day constant use outside in nearly Equitorial African-type heat, so I should not fault the projector alone. I can say if I use Epson's bundled TV dongle, the problem does not happen (if you can stomach "Android TV"). Overall I have not been disappointed with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only has one HDMI input and one hookup for sound, picture is great *by M***M on December 10, 2024* Picture is great, sound coming out of the unit is ok. Epson "fire stick" did not work and frankly isn't necessary for us because we use our amazon fire stick with it. We use this for our home theater, however, in order to hook up our DVD player, Fire stick and gaming console we needed an HDMI port that has 4 inputs to one output. The sound was another challenge and we ended up getting a Bluetooth receiver since this projector has Bluetooth capability.
