Now I'm enjoying Tidal at 96hz and some high end music I have up to 2.2mhz. The boards claim that Microsoft made a change in the last update that broke some audio drivers. My Fostex is not working on a new portable I just got so there may be something to that. I did not knock off a star but it was a bit of a bother. The remote control did not come with a battery. I thought this was an oversight but saw someone else complain about it. The remote will not use the on off. However it is better using the remote to access the menu. Volume works but not given that this is a headphone device I don't see the need unless you are using a long cord. Then it would have some great value. One can tell from the volume knob, which clicks and does not skip anymore. So far it's been holding up well. My only concern is heat.
