A one hour charge should be sufficient but I charge it for about 4 hours. That gives me 10 days cordless shaving. **Q: Can I buy a replacement charging cord** A: Check out eBay for spare parts.. **Q: Can the basic model 3 at £30 be used in the shower?** A: No. It's washable, but it's not suitable for Wet & Dry use. Your Braun Team **Q: Would this work on the back of the head ? For a close shave** A: I believe that electric shavers are not suitable or this. You need a hair clipper for hair cutting on the head. I suggest you consider the Braun MGK 3221 Hair, Beard and Body 6-in-1 Groomer at £32.99 from Amazon or a similar product.
