I am planning a few trips and need a mat that can travel well. Lugging a rolled up mat around is just not practical all the time. This size is great it can fit in a backpack of stow away in a suitcase with plenty of room for other things. A great bonus is that when its folded it also makes a great meditation cushion. The side that touches the floor is folded in on itself so you never practice on the "dirty" side. It has a decent amount of grip to it. and I think it will hold up well. This is the perfect travel mat. I have tried several others but they were like practicing on a sheet of paper. Excellent amount of padding. Love the bonus towel. Wish there had been more color options.
