The medication for his condition is not available, but knowing that cats can naturally clear the infection within 9-12 months if they are well supported, I was happy to follow my vet’s recommendation for this food plus a high quality probiotic. His stools firmed up quickly, he loves the taste, and the particles are shaped so that his flat little face can manage them. Even though I think he’s over the infection, I’m planning to keep him on it for the foreseeable future.
