The cover fits tightly and yet is easy to take off for changing the fuse. The metal ends work as designed to hold the cables, no problems at all. The fuse that comes with it isn't the greatest, but hey... it was free, so I see it more of a bonus... and it does work. But you'll probably want to buy and carry some extra fuses with you anyway, so no big deal at all.I'm not sure of the waterproof claim in the written description. I mean, there's no silicone seal on the cover. I'm not going to test it by submerging mine in water either. I'd say it's water/splash resistant, but probably not waterproof. Not trying to split hairs here, but just giving a heads up for those folks who want super accurate details.In the end, this is a fantastic deal and does the job.
