This desertcart iteration of the soup is exceedingly better than house brands I have tried. All other house brands have been awful, pale pinkish, thick with extreme starch and no flavor. This desertcart product has a good flavor to me, more acid and tomato-ish, and a nice tomato color, better than the name brand, I think. Compared to the name brand, it is quite thin. But the name brand has a lot of thickener, which might be the difference. The flavor might be better than the name brand. I mix mine with milk so it might be different with water. Maybe I just want warm milk sometimes. I buy a few cans a year, so it is not a major need at my house. At a lower price than the name brand, This soup is the best one. Oddly, the can was not full.
