I decided to take a chance on the Alexa integration even though adding in technology can make classic games more complicated than necessary (I’m looking at you, electronic talking Battleship). We first played this game with my mom and my two sons, ages 11 and 9. I was happy to see that we could just use the Mrs. White cards if we didn’t want to use Alexa (and you don’t have to use Mrs. White at all - you can just play the classic Clue game). We decided to use Alexa when we rolled doubles and we all found ourselves so disappointed when we DIDN’T roll doubles. We LOVED hearing what the ghost of Mrs. White was going to say or have us do, and the sound effects and music just added to the fun of the game. We all concluded (even my mom!) that we absolutely loved the Alexa integration. Typically I find that technology just ruins classic games but this really does enhance the game and brings an extra element of fun to it. The best part is that the game is completely playable without it, so you have the choice to add it or not.
