**Q: What is the capacity of the bowl?**
A: Hi.  Each bowl is about 5 inches in diameter.  Capacity: 15 oz with the lid, 19 oz without the lid.

**Q: What is this made of?**
A: This product is made of stoneware.  "Stoneware is a hard, strong, vitrified ware, usually fired above 2,100 Fahrenheit, that contains a high percentage of clay (usually 90%) and a low percentage of non-clay materials. Due to the makeup of the clay and firing temperature, stoneware is a dense, strong, and durable ceramic that is especially appropriate for functional ware because it stands up well to constant use and frequent cleaning" by Signature Housewares, Inc. A: The tops are microwaveable and in fact, they even have a small pop-top as part of the lid that I leave open when I place the bowl in the microwave.

These bowls are so stylish, they even had a design printed on the bottom inside the bowl, so cute! I use these bowls almost everyday for work, they hold the perfect amount of food. The little vent in the lid keeps the microwave clean by keeping food from splattering.

Very pleased with these bowls and lids. Theses are a heavy weight bowl with secure vented lids. Design is a pretty pattern, dishwasher safe also.
