Review: Made is USA, easy to use droppers - Manufactured in the USA- I read this on their website and thought it was worth mentioning. I live in the Midwest, meaning there is about half the year when we get subpar amount of vitman d from the sun. My ped recommended a vitamin d3 (as cholecalciferol) supplement for my toddler who was complaining of leg/growing pains as a d3 deficiency can be the cause. Upon reading articles regarding d3, I found that liquid supplementation was absorbed more than chewables/tabs/gummies so that is why I settled with a liquid. (I am not a Dr nor am I making a recommendation, this is just what I read!). This supplement provides 500IU of d3 in the 8 drop suggested use size for kids 1+, which is 115 servings. I found that 8 drops is about to the .25 line on the included dropper so that's what I give every day instead of counting each individual drop. The dropping is very simple to use, unlike the silly bottles (similar to an essential oil bottle) of vitamin d that I had for my infant that would take forever to release a drop. I just put the drops straight into my 3yos mouth but the bottle says that you can also mix it in a drink or bite of applesauce etc. The taste is very berry forward so neither my 3yo or 1yo mind the drops, they actually argue over who gets them first. This was one of the most affordable options when I was searching and I will be reordering.

A: Its 500 IU's per 8 drops so about 62.5 IU's per drop.

**Q: is there soy in this product?**
A: I can't really tell from the bottle if it is soy free because it only specifically states No gluten, casein or alcohol. But there is no egg or nut in the ingredients and it doesn't make that statement either. The ingredients are: vitD3 as CholecalciferolInactive are- vegetable glycerin, deionized water and natural mixed berry flavor.

**Q: What's the date of  childlife vd?**
A: It should be used best before 03/2015.

**Q: could you tell me the expiration date? thanks**
A: The expiration date on my bottle is May 2016. I hope that is what you needed.

I’m really happy with ChildLife Essentials Vitamin D3 Drops overall.
