I have a KitchenAid dishwasher. The model number is KUDS30IXBT2. I purchased it in August 2011. Somehow the rinse aid dispenser cap came loose during a wash. It landed around the heating element and part of it melted. I checked at the KitchenAid website and they wanted $30 for this part, which seemed a bit high. I found this on desertcart and it was only $10. And I had a five dollar awards amount that I applied to the purchase, so it cost me five dollars. It fit perfectly and stayed on completely in a long wash. I would definitely recommend this Product to replace your rinse aid cap in your KitchenAid dishwasher. I included the model number in this review because there were other model numbers that were very similar but didn't exactly match my model number ... but the product was the same.

I don't write too many reviews on Amazon, but I had to write a review for this product. I have a KitchenAid dishwasher. The model number is KUDS30IXBT2. I purchased it in August 2011. Somehow the rinse aid dispenser cap came loose during a wash. It landed around the heating element and part of it melted. I checked at the KitchenAid website and they wanted $30 for this part, which seemed a bit high. I found this on Amazon and it was only $10. And I had a five dollar awards amount that I applied to the purchase, so it cost me five dollars. It fit perfectly and stayed on completely in a long wash. I would definitely recommend this Product to replace your rinse aid cap in your KitchenAid dishwasher. I included the model number in this review because there were other model numbers that were very similar but didn't exactly match my model number ... but the product was the same.

We have a Kitchenaid Dishwasher model W10579096A bought through Direct Buy a few years ago. Somehow the cap for the rinse aid dispenser came out during one of the loads and melted. I hated to pay full price through the manufacturer so checked here first. It’s important to measure width and depth of where your cap will go. Mine fit perfectly and after running several cycles now feel if will stay and operate as the original cap did. Saved me time and money over ordering from Kitchenaid’s website.
