Could’ve been at least a 4 star review from me. The steel toe is very sturdy and if something heavy did fall on my foot I doubt it would make any impact at all. They feel a little big but I have a really small foot. I ordered a 7 1/2 & I’m glad I ordered the size I did so there was enough room to put inserts in. There’s no a lot of foot support so you’d definitely need to buy some inserts depending on how much comfort you want. They’re a little heavy but it’s not as bad as a boot would be. I didn’t need a lot of time to break them in either, I just wore them around the house for a couple hours. The toe box is also good, no pinching my toes.Unfortunately I am returning them due to the fact that they are NOT slip resistant in the least bit! They’re a hazard to be honest. I had them on and walked onto a wet floor. It felt like I was wearing ice skates. There are other reviews stating this but I gave them a try anyway. You guys need to do something about that because someone could really get hurt wearing these sneakers. Taking them off the market and rebuilding the sole right is a good idea! I have been slipping all over the kitchen in our restaurant. The ones it comes with wear out fast. They breath. Great for summer. If you have to wear steel toe shoes, I highly recommend.
