There are always people coming in and out of the room and I don't want to have to worry if someone breaks it, or it ends up being stolen. For $159, this guitar is more than sufficient.Some people have been stating that there were intonation problems with the guitar. I had some issues with that myself, but all new guitars and new strings have that problem. I have been playing guitar for about seven years, but only recently found out that stretching out your strings can help fix this issue. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube that show you how to stretch them out. If you're a beginner, don't get frustrated, just work through it logically! (You wouldn't vigorously run/jog without proper stretching!)Obviously, the sound will not compare to a full sized guitar, but for under $200, this guitar is great! Yes, it lacks a good bass sound, but the overall tone of the guitar is fun sounding and unique. It has a box like quality in terms of projection, and that's ok, because it adds to the appeal of the guitar. Coming in at around three pounds, the guitar is lightweight and VERY portable. The gig bag that comes with it is quite flimsy, so I ended up also purchasing a 15mm padded gig bag to protect it while I'm traveling or away at college.The action, or how far away from the strings are from the fretboard, is a little too high for fingerpicking, but due to the small scale of the guitar, I don't have to apply too much pressure. I'm probably going to sand down the saddle later on.If you're a child starting to learn guitar, or someone looking for a decent travel guitar, this is the best 3/4 guitar in its price range. If you don't go into this purchase with a mindset of thinking it will sound like a $1000 guitar, then you will be very pleased. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it! As an middle-aged small woman, I decided I would purchase a small guitar that fit my body & hands and make the fingering as easy as possible for me as I age, and the laser etch on this all-mahogany guitar is fantastic. I took it to a guitar tech as soon as it arrived, and he gave it back at no charge, stating to his own surprise that it needed no setup! (Won't happen for yours!)For the price paid, this is an attractive little guitar with a pleasant mild tone, and is built of real wood. Is it the quality of a Baby Taylor or Little Martin--no. But for those with a limited budget, this is a good purchase for an entry-level instrument. I’ve been playing a long time and have multiple guitars but wanted something fun and comfortable to pick at while laid back on a couch or chair. This guitar exceeed my expectations. It sounds great and has a full sound, and not just for it’s size. Holds tune great and is easy and comfortable to play. Only thing to note is the action was a little high to start but it came provided with a wrench to adjust the truss rod.
