These gloves were great on my last fishing trip. They were comfortable whether wet or dry and protected my fingers from friction as I stripped line in. They also made handling trout more secure. The only problem is that now I have one more thing to track and remember to put on. A suggestion would be to make the tab for pulling on the gloves a loop so they can be secured with a glove retainer. I worry that removing a glove to tie on a new fly could be an opportunity to irretrievably lose one into the water. One final thought, be sure to wash (or at least rinse the gloves after handling fish). I was rushed and neglected to after our last day of fishing (my fault) and the gloves had a really bad odor after a couple days of basting in my fishing bag. A good cleaning fixed that. The imitation leather which helped grip the fish is what retained the odor (my son has gloves are just fabric and did not have as bad an odor). Review: It works - Not only is the most affordable glove on desertcart, I think it is the best. It is long enough cover most of the wrist so you do not have exposed skin between it and your sleeve, it also covers most of your fingers except for the tips. No sunburn, and less sunscreen needed. I've only had it for one week and used it twice already. Time will tell how well it holds up.
