Our flame retardant canvas tarps pass the osha ruling for flame retardant tarps and are great choices of covers for your outdoor applications as well as strict on the job coverage. From lumber covers to equipment covers, they can be used on any outdoor applications which require strong yet breathable tarps. Our extra-tough canvas tarps are water, mildew and rot resistant with a clear urethane coating and many times stronger than canvas with added tear, abrasion and puncture resistance. You'll always get first-quality fabric but colors may vary. Double-stitched seams and single-stitched hems. Protect many types of equipment outside and inside the ship, garage, warehouse and around the farm. Single-stitched hem reduces cut size 6in. for each dimension. Double-stitched center seam. Rust-resistant grommets with reinforcing patches along the sides and at corners. Canvas Tarpaulins protect or conceal equipment and supplies while eliminating condensation.

    This tarp stinks. Literally.

In fact, it had an overpowering aroma to it when I opened it up...indoors. (Bad idea - I'm glad it's a decent temperature outside these days because I had all the windows open for quite a while.) Luckily, the odor has faded significantly now that it's been thrown over a railing for a few days. Also, the waxy coating comes off on my hands when I'm adjusting it, which is unpleasant; these things wouldn't be a serious issue if I'd bought it to cover my wood pile, but I wish I'd known before I bought it.Other than that, the weave of the material is decent and the stitching seems strong, albeit a little irregular. Not a bad product overall, just with some unexpected qualities.
