I have laid peel and stick tiles many times in my lifetime. This is a thinner budget tile with good but not permanent adhesion, but I prefer that in a rental application since it is easier to cut and will be easier to remove. I could cut it with scissors and I was able to lift it and place it again if I needed to trim it more. I will likely need to glue down a corner or two after a while, but mainly because I laid it on an existing 30yo tile floor so it is not an even surface to begin with. Be advised when you use thinner budget tile, matching a pattern is much more difficult. But with a random pattern like this, it is great. Note it is a light cool grey, not a white marble. I put a white deodorant in the middle of the floor so you can see the difference. I would have preferred a white marble but for the price and free prime next day delivery I can't complain. My only regret is it makes everything else look dingy and even older now lol. I have 13” square tiles so these tiles would be applied over grout lines.** A: In my humble opinion, I would say no unless you used additional adhesive such as liquid nail or something that would build the grout lines to the same level as the tile. For the most part they have stayed stuck down pretty well, with the exception of the corners peeling up in high traffic areas. I will say that removal is quite a messy job. After a container of goo gone and hours of scraping, the sticky residue is mostly off.
