So I set up an appointment with my cardiologist and he said it was time to get on medication and prescribed Amlodipine Besylate which he said I would probably be on for life. I filled the prescription but after a serious discussion with my spouse, decided to take 2 weeks to make lifestyle changes and get my BP down without the meds. So I did some research and found that L-Arginine Pro had Magnesium and Vitamins D & K which I had read are important for cardiovascular health and it turned out it was the best deal on Amazon. It was delivered quickly and I immediately started taking L-Arginine Pro twice a day and reduced my salt intake. It didn't even take 2 weeks for my BP to get down but I had a follow up scheduled with my cardiologist for a month after he prescribed the meds and I was a bit nervous because the blood pressure monitor I use at home is inconsistent at best.I just got back from the visit and had to write this review. The doctor asked me if I've been taking the medication regularly and I had to sheepishly say no but that I believed my BP had come down. He looked at me sideways and said OK, lets see. He was astounded when he took my BP that it was 120/80, and that was in the doctor's office and I was nervous so my BP is usually higher at the doctor's.
