When Raquel (aka Rocky) starts her new job she is warned to stay away from her boss, but what happens when the devil lures her in?I LOVED every single moment of this book. There was so much more to this book than it just being an office romance. Patton comes from a military background, but after things went south he took over his fathers company. He runs things a certain way and he feels responsible for his brothers. Raquel graduated top of her class, reading to start her life in corporate America. She wants to be there for his sister, wants to make sure her sister is okay.I loved the chemistry between Patton and Raquel. There was an instant connection with those two and it just continued to grow and grow. Patton is an intense man and he seemed a little lost when it came to his feelings. I loved that Raquel tried to listen to the warnings, tried to ignore and fight the attraction she had for Patton.Boss of Me is full of steam, romance and emotion. But when her boss turns out to be the devil in a gorgeous suit, will she give in to what her body's screaming at her to do? What about when her heart's in danger?Holy smokes Batman, but Boss of Me is freaking hot with ust! All the barbs and scowls Patton throws at Raquel are so obviously masking not just serious attraction, but something much deeper. I love how it really didn't take long for Patton's devilish exterior to soften up though, to open up to her. She was so perfect for Patton, who wasn't really accustomed to anything other than focusing on his company and taking care of his team, of his family. So when this sassy woman strolls into his life, he has no idea how to deal at first. In true fashion, though, his fall was glorious to read!Enemies to lovers and office romances are two of my favorite tropes and it's reads like this one why I love them so much. Angst and wit and snark when perfectly balanced with deeper emotion and layered characters who just don't want to give in to what is so obvious to the reader...gah, I love it when I read that kind of thing, and this author does it perfectly. Patton's surely a devil at first, but Raquel is the perfect combination of sweet and sassy to bring out his softer side, to bring out his truly good heart.
