Many other gauges have a 0-100 or even 0-120 psi scale and it is more difficult to read a relatively low (37 psi) reading on those gauges. **Q: Is the gauge tested for accuracy before shipping? If so, what is its accuracy?** A: as far as I understood when I ordered it, it was calibrated, however the manufacturer listed that it works best toward the middle of the range of pressure 20-40psi as the gage loses a little accuracy at the extremes, as happens with all gages, thats why the make high pressure, and low pressure gages from what I understand.
