I purchased the 2P tent in late December of 2018 to replace my older gear. These photos are from the first trip out with Paria gear and used on a 3 day trip in Tucson, AZ in early January 2019. Evening temperatures dropped to the teens with rain and medium wind gusts. I also purchased Paria’s thermodown 15 sleeping bag and recharge XL. I will review those separately.I did set up and take down once at home before packing and recommended you do the same. Although this is a 2p tent, due to its lightweight and packing size I intend to use this for backpacking to hold just myself and my gear. After spending 3 nights in the tent I am confident it can hold two adults as comfortably if not better as any other 2p tent on the market, specifically because of the pole construction for the headroom.Great tent! Upon arrival It was a pleasant surprise to see that Paria has reinforced the edges with stitching in a pop of red.The tent goes up fast and with minimal effort. Paria’s lightweight stakes and little loop of cord attached to each made packing up in cold weather and pouring rain a breeze. I was done light years before my cohikers. Excellent touch Paria.The guy out lines are light and easy to attach. During night 3 It rained with medium wind gusts. I can confidently say the tent did a great job keeping myself and gear dry while deflecting the wind.My boots were kept in the vestibule all three nights with no issues. The vestibule provided enough room for me to make breakfast while it was raining and not get wet. The dual action zippers in both the mesh and cover are easy and usable, while helpful to be able to peek out from either top or bottom.I pitched the tent on a slight incline with the back of the tent slightly higher. It was obvious with the way the tent is constructed that there would be more room to sit up and move around if my head was closest to the single entry door. I did not do that. I kept my head higher towards the back of the tent. I would encourage coordinating your sleeping quarters with head closests to door, you’ll find there is much more room to sit up and get your day going.I recommend this tent. 5 stars from me. It’s lightweight, easy to set up/pack up with ample room. With a tent of this quality it’s really hard to beat Parias price point compared to others on the market. You won’t be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Superior Beginner Backpacking Tent! *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2021* If you are looking to get into a lighter 2P tent for either 1 person or 1 person and a dog or child, this is the tent to get!! I purchased this tent in April ‘21, and I've taken this tent on multiple trips now, over 70 miles on the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin. Big Pros are easy setup, simple design, easy to guy out the lines, zero condensation (living through humid WI weather currently), great packability, well-constructed, and ok space for 1 person. If you like lots of room for 1 person, need a lighter 2P tent, and are on a budget... Paria Outdoors has your answer here, and I like the annoying yellow color lol. It’s a classic! If you're into photos or video, it will stand out in contrast to a natural background well. It is 100% a backpacking tent and two 23” Klymit sleep pads fit easily side by side with a few more inches. Most recently, my 10 yr old son and I slept in it on trail, and we both had enough room. Everything works well on this tent, the design is decent, and has good stitching and seam-sealing.Big Cons are weight, only 1 door (only really applicable if using with 2 ppl or more), and a small front vestibule. I would not trust the weights ANY company lists on their website. It’s always different once you get yours at home. That said, I ditched the companies ground cloth in exchange for plain jane clear 7mil plastic sheeting (much lighter). I also don’t use all the stakes included with this tent. I use 9 stakes, and in lighter weather… you could ditch even more stakes if you only use the mesh bathtub and GC. With the mesh bath tub, plastic sheeting, and the rain fly… on my scale it’s 1.24kg (2.73lbs). That DOES NOT include poles and stakes. Altogether, it’s 1.84kg (4.05lbs) with my GC mod and using less stakes. Hey, that is a really good weight for a budget tent that is well made!!! Paria Outdoors, I would remove the UL designation here because 4lbs in not UL. But it packs down super tight when you take out the poles and stakes, placing those item somewhere else in your pack.All in all, I would absolutely buy this tent again! Excellent tent to get you out there and more!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars ... of prices I decided that this tent was a good value for your dollar *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2017* After looking at many tents through a wide range of prices I decided that this tent was a good value for your dollar. I was pretty impressed with the size for the weight (4 pounds 6 oz) and it really can easily fit 2 guys which a lot of times isn't true for 2 man tents. Overall the construction and quality is pretty good. I love that it comes with a footprint too. I felt like the tent was well worth the purchase. Super easy to set up and exactly what I was looking for in the weight/price/durability/versatility points. So why the 4 star review if I love it so much? Well one problem... the zipper on the fly was installed backwards... this made it so when you unzip the fly the zipper was on the bottom and you couldn't really open it... luckily I can fix anything and my mom taught me to sew when I was young so I popped a few stitches flipped the head of the zipper around and stitched it back up. Gotta say I was pretty disappointed when I saw this but I'm very happy with the rest of the tent.
