I recently got back into gymnastics as an adult and hadn't bought grips in over 10 years. It was tricky to determine where to measure to the bottom of my wrist, but the size medium worked well for me. I measured between a small and medium and sized up which I think was a good move. I use these about 2-3 times a week for about 30 minutes at a time and they have held up pretty well. Growing up I had buckle closure grips, and the velcro closure grips are so much easier to deal with especially when I'm not spending hours on the bars. I did not want to further delay the writing of this review until my daughter gets stronger, so I am reviewing the item now. Not only is it very well-made (compared to grips my other daughter has worn), but the fit is spot-on, and the materials are high quality. Only thing is I have trouble doing skills where I have to rotate my wrists forward like kips and front hip circles but I think that that might be a matter of how I'm chalking them or breaking them in?
