As I believe others have said, the material is polyester or something and retains the heat. Despite the mesh, it doesn't breathe well enough. It's fine for light outdoor work or hiking, but heavy outdoor physical work such as construction, the heat tends to just stay inside the top.Beyond that, the neck flap doesn't snap to itself. I can find nowhere else it's supposed to snap to.
