This area borders the Aegean sea and offers an ideal micro climate to nurture olive growth. I am pleased with the product and have bought it before. **Q: What harvest year will I receive if I order now (Feb 2020)?** A: Ordered in June 2020 and I received the oil from a lot marked only with expiring date 06/10/2021. To me it suggests that it was last harvest season olive oil. Unfortunately my experience was spoiled by poor packaging. The outside cardboard container was not damaged but the tin was. I tried to flag this up with Amazon, not for a refund but to flag up an issue so that this could be addressed. I received a message telling me that this item was not eligible for a refund - not good customer service had all the oil leaked out. I then tried the helpline, rang the number and received a code which I entered but it could not be recognised. After a few attempts I gave up.
