The sonic action is pretty amazing, you can feel the superior clean after brushing. The sonic action also gets between the teeth to you can feel it clear to the other side. Again this model doesn't have all the bells and whistles as their top of the line but it has enough and I like the simplicity of it. One thing the Sonicare engineers should consider is put the excess pressure warning light on the other side of the handle so you can see it in the mirror when you are brushing. Not a big deal as the brush kind of stutters if you use too much force. If you sign up for brush head subscription you can get your first brush head for nearly free (1 cent was charge to my credit card) you can then cancel the subscription easily. It doesn't come with any kind of travel case if you are looking for that. I don't think you can go wrong with this brush and it just might get you out of the dentist's chair a bit sooner. I found it was preventable by taking the brush head off to dry and clean it and the connector area after each use; but then, within a couple months, the strain of taking it off and on again so frequently seemed to break something in the base, and it no longer vibrated well. I ended up switching to a cheap knockoff from overseas, that nonetheless doesn't have the connection gap, and works great.
