First day on my cat slept on the back of the chair and it had several snags. My dog sat beside me and it got a snag. They are gentle animals. Also there’s no real directions. Can’t really answer aboutthe easy to clean yet. The stretch was great. I have one of those extra wide recliners so my nine year old granddaughter can sit with me. The stretch was enough so it was able to pretty much fit. I gave it only a 3 because it snags so easy. I’m going to have to put some kind of pad on the back. I have dogs and cats and this is a before and after shot of my chair cover 18 days. The pets nails have snagged on the material in many many places. It now looks years old. The seat in the back of recliners pulls out from sliding forward to get out of chair. Plus if you eat sticky stuff and it drops onto material like carmal corn. It sticks and will not come off even if you rub it with your figure nail. It is stuck. But the sides and the back stay on very well and fits nice. The foot rest tucks under at end and stays in place even when moveing the foot rest up and down. A lot better then a one piece.
