Look at their guidewear boots for hiking into lakes and rivers.. **Q: Are these designed to be worn with boot foot waders, or for wet wading, or for both?** A: Well to be honest, the size 12 that I got seems large enough to accommodate a stocking foot wader. My intention is to wet wade but I will need some large sock or neoprene sock to go with it. I will be in tropical water so I'm not certain exactly what to use so my feet aren't too warm. I might get a smaller size. **Q: Are these non marking souls so u can wear them on a boat when on the saltwater flats without marking it up? I am unclear on what u mean by cleated?** A: They do have black heavy tread souls on them, awesome boots, don’t think they will mark boat deck. Thanks Amazon!!! They are extremely comfortable and super light weight, but pretty thin so not sure how they will hold up. Overall I think they are good for warm weather, but I took them duck hunting and my feet were freezing. They were great to walk in though, a lot better than any boot I've ever duck hunted in before. I got a half size bigger than my shoe size and think it was a perfect fit with the neoprene stocking foot wader to fill up the gap. So far I'm pleased with the boots, but not with Amazon.
