The stems are thin and the glasses might be a little fragile so they definitely must be handled with caution. The mouth of the glass is somewhat small so the average sized American male or adult female might have trouble getting your hand inside to wash them. I love the shape and look of them. They're too tall for the top rack of my dishwasher and my dishwasher doesn't have anywhere safe to put them on the bottom rack so I only hand wash them and dry them immediately to avoid streaks. My only complaint is that two of them had minor imperfections in the glass. I don't have the energy to contact Amazon for a return since the imperfections are just cosmetic and don't compromise function. The photo I'm uploading shows one of the dimples in the glass.
