She was 5 at the time and had never ridden in a vehicle without being properly protected. It didn’t make sense for us to take her booster for the short ride and then proceed to carry the big, heavy thing around with us all day at Navy Pier. So we risked it. Thankfully we were all ok but that situation never left my mind. I can across WhizRider and decided to give it a try. It is very small and compact - perfect to easily fit into the backpack we carry with her Epi-Pen and water bottle. I chose the pink color size L which worked perfectly for her and we won’t outgrow it too fast. We opened it up and gave it a try - easy peasy!!! It took only a few minutes to get the straps properly adjusted for her size and hook her in the car. I am beyond pleased. I will never be caught again in a situation where I can’t properly secure my daughter in a vehicle while on vacation. I would highly recommend for any parent that plans on traveling anywhere with the children. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for travel *by S***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2021* This is great if you are traveling and your regular carseat isn't convenient. Putting it on is easy with a semi cooperative kid. Carseat straps slide easily into place when you buckle them up and secure them.I have a love / hate relationship with the leg clips. I love that they prevent my kiddo from sliding down and is more securely in place. Although it's easy to get the seatbelt straps clipped in, getting out takes a bit more time. They don't slide out as easily as they slid in. Bonus on safety but minus on easily getting an excited kiddo out if the car in a timely manner.I have a lot of anxiety about kids and them being secure and safely protected in the car. I have been told I go over the top a bit. So when I purchased this, my family couldn't believe it. I am still nervous about side impact safety, so I only use this in a middle seat.For us, it's not a daily use item. However, it is great for not having to tote a large carseat when traveling.
