I was looking for a trash crash and the ones I found locally either didn't have the sound I wanted or were too expensive. This is the first cymbal I've bought online without listening to it first-I figured since it's returnable I'd take a chance. Very glad I did! Looks great and more importantly sounds great! Tone is in between my 16'" thin crash "A" and my 18" dark crash Sabian HHX. Plus it has the rough trashy sound--nice contrasting effect. This is also the first cymbal I've ever bought that was in the original factory bag from Zildjian. Nice. I do wish Amazon had packed it better--mine arrived without problems but they literally just put the cymbal in a 2 foot x 3 foot x 5 inch box and taped it shut. No padding or packing of any kind.
