The rope legs are great for teething and chewing and the long nose for sucking on and biting. It kinda looks like a puppy too with its natural color and posture and fat tummy. Not a scary face , but a comforting toy for your new puppy.Not as interesting to adult dogs, most likely because it can’t compete for interest with elaborate toys. I still give five stars for safety and first toy for puppies, but only 4 stars for older dogs. It is a good toy to throw in the house for them.Well I was wrong about it being boring to adults. Turns out that this is the favorite Christmas toy of my eight year old Dalmatian Lily. She constantly brings it to us to play catch, and she dances around shaking it to hear it crinkle.
