The concept seemed neat and made sense. I quickly discovered that they don't stay warm for very long, I feel like minutes was all I got from them. So I was constantly having to run downstairs and re-warm them up. After the 10th time of doing so I said SCREW IT! And just didn't use them and used a regular heating pad. I still use them here and there to help with milk flow. But one of the seems did come apart so I'm waiting for all the beads to come spilling out any chance I use it. It's like Russian roulette trying to figure out If this Is the time the beads are going to come spilling out or not...its great fun! I like to find icepacks small enough that I can fit under a thumb brace or tight fingerless gloves so I'm not stuck sitting around holding the icepack in place. I've found some small icepacks but they get that cold, even though frozen or stay cold long, this one gets quite cold and With the hole in the middle and shape of the pack, I can wrap it around the entire base of my thumb or fold it in half and place it on the outside of the joint, under a brace or tight glove.
