Features that could be better: 1. Uses only battery power 2. Would like to be able to schedule more feedings throughout the day (want to feed my cat 5 or 6 smaller meals) 3. The cat has figured out that if he slams it, more food comes out-so I wish it were heavier or the mechanism was tighter to not allow additional food drops.

I purchased this item about 4 months ago to help feed my cats on a regular schedule IT GOES THROUGH SO MANY BATTERIES!!! I have it set for 3 feeding times and the batteries last less than a week, if there was an AC adapter for this to plug it in it would be perfect
