I could not get it off my skin with acetone remover, but it did file off easily. The smell is very strong, but that is to be expected with any nail glue. If it's just a small tear or rip on the side of the nail near the tip, it should be fine. I’m always on nail forums seeing which ones are popular and I’ve tried probably 10 different ones. Finally tried the ( un-recommended) Mia Secrets. My nails have been on for two weeks and I wanted to change them but they were still so firmly glued on that it took an hour of soaking in dish soap and warm water, then using a gel glue remover AND cuticle oil before they would budge. Them not popping off was not due to me being careful with them. I constantly forget to wear gloves when I do the dishes and I do a lot b/c I don’t own a dishwasher. I’ve also been doing a lot of gardening and spring cleaning •.
