They’ll easily stretch to a 38-40” waist, but not much more. I don’t like the long length, but they are comfy with good hand pockets - I should have gotten the cling bottoms rather than the open bottoms, which would have kept the length from being an issue. I have always ordered men's sweatpants as my butt and hips are on the small side. I would have normally ordered the xl, as some reviewers mentioned these run small. So, I ordered the xxl. I washed and dried them, hoping they would shrink. The shrinkage was negligible. They are huge at the waist and I have to hem them up over 3 inches. The seat and hips fit fine.There was no pilling of fibers after removing them from the dryer which was a plus. However, the waistband inside was never sewn properly and the elastic was sticking out. I will have to do quite a bit of sewing to make these work for lounging.Oh, the fleece is thick and substantial which I consider a plus. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am a 5'10" woman -- approx 180 lbs; men's XL OK if not put in dryer; XXL better though *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2019* I like the material -- soft, 60% cotton/40% polyester -- I like the feel and they appear to be well-made. I think, however that they must run on the short/small side, since typically, I could wear a men's L, but I had to get a men's XXL for both length and to allow for potential shrinkage (because they're still 60% cotton).
